Leapfrog
The leapfrog position is similar to the doggy style position but with a slight twist and added benefits.
How To Do
- The penetrating partner penetrates from behind in a kneeling position. This, as with most positions in which the penetrating partner enters the receiving partner from behind, allows the penetrating partner to ensure that the receiving one, reaches a satisfactory orgasm by manually stimulating her clitoris.
- This position also allows the penetrating partner to control his thrust speed more easily, providing the desired speed and stimulation for the receiving partner.
- Penetration can be very deep.The receiving partner also has the option of rotating her hips against the penis as she is penetrated giving added sensation to both partners.
Instead of the submissive person being on "all fours" like in other rear entry positions, his or her head and torso are lower than the hips. He or she can either keep the rear end up with knees slightly locked to create a 45 degree angle or he/she may lower the entire body, causing the partner to also need to squat more.
In the more angled position, it will often times cause the urge to slide the legs back some, creating a look similar to that of a frog jumping (hence the name, although some compare it to the child-like game of "leapfrog," also, because it looks like the person in the back is getting ready to jump over the one in front).
Advantages of the Leapfrog Position
- It is sometimes relieving for the front partner to somewhat relax, laying his/her head on a pillow or on crossed arms, but this can also sometimes restrict the breathing, so caution should be taken.
- For the penetrating partner, this position offers an unobstructed view of the partner's body from the rear as well as leaving the hands and arms free. Having the arms and hands free allows the penetrating partner to stimulate the clitoris or anus of the receiving partner.
- In a rear-entry sex position, the woman can feel exceptionally vulnerable. Some women find this highly stimulating – the thought of being penetrated and taken in an ‘animal-like’ way greatly turns them on. However, other women find it a turn-off because they consider it an ‘unromantic’ position.
- For some women this position provides the best stimulation of the G Spot
For the male, the penetrating position allows for different sensations during sex as compared with other positions. For example, in this position, the testicles may brush against the receiver's thighs
This position allows for easy access for manual stimulation of the front person's genitals. It may create the feeling of domination and control, too, and allow for direct spanking or fondling without the reciprocation of the partner.
It is especially beneficial to pregnant women, too, as it takes the stress off the belly, and in the more kneeling variation, it can prevent pain from hard thrusting.
Disadvantages of the Leapfrog Position
- One drawback of this position for some is the difficulty of maintaining direct eye contact, or kissing.
- Some women may experience pain due to over-penetration.
- Despite it being a deep penetration position, it is very easy for the penis to slip out.
- Some women experience vaginal flatulence when engaging in this position.
- One disadvantage of this position is it can cause strain on the receiving partner's back.
- This position is often great to play with sexual dominance: some consider the position humiliating or degrading because of its perceived link to animal copulation, or more generally, because of its perceived submissive or receptive nature. For this reason, rear entry intercourse features in some sexual fetishes such as human animal roleplay.
- Because this position can be done either with the front person's legs between the others, or on the outside, there are different advantages/disadvantages depending on the variation.
- If the front person's legs are on the inside, it creates a smaller, tighter entrance and if they're on the outside, it opens it up some and may feel looser, but it allows for deeper penetration. Regardless, the different angle can create new sensations for both partners.
